A police standoff in Meadville that had special forces on the scene for several hours ended peacefully Tuesday night.
State Police tell us troopers surrounded a home in East Mead township around 1:50 Tuesday afternoon, at Prenatt and Plank Roads.
State Police were helping serve a warrant to Bryan Sedlak, Junior, at that address, for allegedly firing shots over the weekend.
That's when the standoff began.
Sedlak refused to come out, and police believed he may have been armed inside.
The SERT team was called in to assist, and ultimately coaxed him out around 5:30 p.m. without the use of force.
Sedlak is now in custody facing charges of aggravated assault for the Saturday shooting. Police tell us additional charges will likely be filed for Tuesday's incident.
