Washington D.C. Bureau Correspondent
I joined Lilly Broadcasting's Washington, D.C. Bureau in Aug. 2018 and I'm excited to bring the news happening inside the Beltway back to you!
Prior to taking on this role in Washington, I spent four years as a reporter in Erie, Pennsylvania for our station Erie News Now (WICU-TV/WSEE-TV) from May 2014 to July 2018. During that time, I hit the campaign trail covering President Donald Trump, Sen. Bernie Sanders and others. While reporting on local government, I exposed how Erie County loses millions of dollars each year because of tax-exempt and non-profit properties among other investigative reports. Many nights were spent covering city council, county council and school board meetings tracking your tax dollars and reporting the issues that matter to the community.
I graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in May 2014 with a degree in Mass Media Arts, Journalism, and Communication Studies and a minor in Political Science. There, I was heavily involved in student media and really began understanding politics and media's role in it. A native of Northwestern Pa., I graduated from Cambridge Springs (PA) High School (about 30 minutes south of Erie) and began broadcasting when I was just 16-years-old as a sportscaster and DJ at a local radio station.
In my free time, I enjoy watching sports of all kinds (mainly my Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates) and catching up on some favorite TV shows.
Starting this next chapter of my career is certainly exciting, and I thank you for joining me along the way!
