WASHINGTON, D.C. - The wait is finally over for Democrats.

Hilary Clinton has selected Virginia Senator, Tim Kaine, to be her Vice Presidential running mate.

Clinton announced her choice via Twitter this evening while on a two day swing through the key battleground state of Florida.

Senator Kaine has been widely viewed as a front runner for the number two spot for days.

He appeared with Clinton on the campaign trail earlier this month in his home state.

Kaine, who is fluent in Spanish, was elected to the Senate in 2012, and also served a four year term as Virginia's Governor.
