Singer/Songwriter BRI Announces her Self-titled debut EP "BRI"

Indie singer/songwriter makes debut with a harmonious blend of soulful music

LOS ANGELES, CA, October 07, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Los Angeles based singer and songwriter BRI has officially released her debut EP, "BRI." Featuring 6-songs, "BRI" comes together to deliver a personal interpretation of modern soul music. BRI's musical expression throughout the project makes it an EP you will not forget.

As listeners journey through the playlist, they will get a genuine sense of heartfelt lyricism. "BRI" will be available on all major music platforms including iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and CD Baby on October 25th.

Written by BRI and Carey Frank, who wrote the chords and arranged the music, "BRI" was produced by Sam Brawner except for "VooDoo" which was produced by Jamey Tate. The EP features live instrumentation with contributions from musicians Sam Brawner (drums), Jamey Tate (drums), Carey Frank (piano, organ and bass) and John Schroeder (guitar).

BRI began singing as a child and briefly studied vocal technique under renowned Opera singer Harold Meers. Influenced by legendary artists such as Anne Wilson, Idina Menzel, Celine Dion, Amy Winehouse, Norah Jones, Adele, Sia and Etta James, BRI has used their inspiration to develop her craft further. An undeniably talented singer and vocalist, BRI's voice is a perfect mix of jazz, blues, soul, and R&B.

BRI is also an emerging actress who has starred in several independent films including "Captain Hagen's Bed and Breakfast," currently set to premiere at the 2018 Hampton's International Film Festival in New York.

Bri Oglu is a talented singer/songwriter and actress based in Los Angeles. Influenced by music and performing arts at a young age, she would later graduate from Wesleyan University where she studied comedy and drama. Among Bri's musical inspirations are Anne Wilson, Idina Menzel, Celine Dion, Amy Winehouse, Norah Jones, Adele, Sia & Etta James, integral to her developing her signature style that mixes jazz, blues, soul, and R&B.
