An investigation is underway into an early-morning house fire in the city.

It broke out just after 1 a.m. Wednesday, along Cascade St. near West 20th.

The first crews on scene found smoke and flames coming from the back of the supposedly vacant house.

The Assistant Fire Chief says it looks like the fire seems to have started in two different places.

Police report there are no active utility hookups to the home, and it's not the first time the place has caught fire.

They are treating the fire as a possible case of arson.

No one was hurt.
