In the race for the republican nomination in the second legislative district, Tim Kuzma defeated Laban Marsh.

Kuzma spent the night watching returns come in with top leaders of the local republican party.

He said he only spent about $1500 on the campaign.

Instead of spending money, he was busy meeting voters face to face, talking about the issues.

He said that personal touch was the key to his win.

Kuzma said, "Door to door and asking people for their vote. What did people want to talk about what were the key issues? How Harrisburg is collecting their money and how they are spending it."

Laban Marsh called Kuzma to congratulate Kuzma on his win.

Marsh said he considered the campaign a learning experience.
