Erie News Now, which is located in Erie, Pennsylvania, combines the strength of our NBC, CBS and CW stations to produce creative content for on-air and digital platforms. You will work with an experienced team of anchors, reporters, editors and other professional journalists. The ideal candidate should have a passion for journalism and serving the public interest. Lilly Broadcasting, is a family-owned company operating multiple television stations and digital platforms.   Formed in 1999 by brothers Brian and Kevin Lilly, the company is headquartered in Erie, Pennsylvania.   Lilly Broadcasting’s goal is to inspire, innovate, entertain and inform through excellent programming and community service.

We are looking for a technically savvy individual to work with our news team to deliver news, weather, sports and other forms of content for our viewers. The person we hire will direct newscasts, gather video content, edit video and perform other duties associated with television news broadcasts. While directing a newscast you will work with newscast producers and anchors to put together live news broadcast. You will be responsible for all technical aspects of the newscast including video, audio, graphics and camera movements by operating VizRT Automation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Operating VizRT Opus automation to direct live newscasts.
  • Preparing live newscasts though AP ENPS
  • Operating Adobe Premiere Pro to edit video for newscasts and digital platforms
  • Recording video for newscasts with reporters, producers and anchors using various Panasonic, Sony and Canon professional-grade cameras
  • Occasional writing of news stories for on-air and digital platforms
