I joined Lilly Broadcasting in Oct. 2018, and I’m excited to be in the Erie area!

I was born in Brooklyn, NY but grew up most my life in Hope Mills, NC.

Before coming to Erie, I graduated from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA, with B.A. in Religion. While at Morehouse I was a part of the Sports Journalism program and wrote for the school newspaper. Knowing that I had a passion for journalism and ministry, I graduated from Emory University with a Masters of Divinity and then went to Northwestern University for a Masters of Science in Journalism.

During my time in Atlanta, I interned with the Sports Utility Vehicle, doing production and on-air broadcasting. I also was the P.A. announcer for Morehouse’s football and basketball teams.

While in Chicago, I interned with the Big Ten Network as a broadcast and production intern, doing play-by-play announcing and camera work for Northwestern’s men and women’s basketball, lacrosse, and baseball.

As part of Northwestern’s graduate school publication, Medill Reports, I did print, digital, and broadcast reporting from a variety of areas, covering national sports and local stories in Chicago, IL. This included reporting at NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles and Big Ten Media Day in Chicago. I was also an executive producer of a documentary following NBA G-League player Brandon McCoy’s journey to the league.

After graduating from Northwestern in Sept. 2018, I was honored to receive this opportunity to meet the Erie community!

My biggest role model in life has been my father, he taught me everything I need to know about being a man and husband. My passion is telling stories that inspire people, give light and hope, or challenge people to think differently.

Outside of work I love following sports, specifically college and professional football and basketball. I’m in love the with the Panthers, Hornets, and Tarheels. When I’m not watching games, I’m playing them virtually, (no one can beat me on Madden or NBA 2K).
