The president of Waldameer went before the Millcreek Township Zoning Hearing Board to ask to rezone a portion of their property.

Waldameer is hoping to remove and replace two waterslides, including the Bermuda Triangle, with a new slide in 2020.

The current waterslide had a rezoning variance approved in 1991 and the new plans require a new variance approval.

The property requires a 30 foot setback (space from the property line) and the maximum height is set at 35 feet. The council approved the variance request, moving the setback to only 14 feet and the maximum height to 46 feet.
