Seelinger Law has helped clients through personal bankruptcy over the past 10 years.

The firm, with offices in Erie, Meadville, and Pittsburgh is small.

But it has had a big impact on hundreds of families working to overcome financial challenges.

Owner Rebeka Seelinger says her philosophy is to relieve her clients stress, keep them informed and make the process understandable.

She said, "It is a scary thing because of the unknown. So I say, I know what is going to happen. I will take care of you. I got this. You are okay. People deserve a fresh start. Life happens. People lose their jobs, they get sick. And they deserve to move forward with their lives."

Seelinger says there are a lot of misconceptions about what happens in bankruptcy court. She says it is her job to educate her clients and make the process as easy as possible.

She said, "I do not want people to have these misunderstandings about bankruptcy and what it used to be and what it is now."
