A group of cyclists started off 2019 with a ride called the Frigid Frolic, which is now in the seventh year.
About 70 people got on their bikes for the event that's raises donations for different charities.

This year, the gloves, hats and scarves donated by the bike riders will be donated to Community Shelter Services and the Emmaus Soup Kitchen, both in Erie.

Event organizer, Eric Webber, says, "It's amazing. It's very humbling and makes me feel good that people are willing to come out and do something that popped into my mind."

Cyclists choose to bike either two or six miles in Presque Isle State Park.
