State Police are investigating a fatal accident that took the life of an 88 year-old man.


The crash happened just before 1:00 p.m., Thursday afternoon on Rt 6N; just about 1,000 feet west of route 525 on Rt 6, near Mill Village.
According to a police report, three people were in a 2008 Chevrolet Impala when the accident happened.
Charles Price, 88, was a passenger in the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Reports claim he was not wearing a seat belt.
The driver and one other passenger were both injured, and taken to UPMC-Hamot for treatment. They were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
The driver is charged on driving violations.
