The classic 1939 film, The Wizard of OZ, is showing at the Warner Theater in Erie with a twist.
The Erie Philharmonic plays the musical score to the movie live on stage as it plays on an overhead screen for the audience.
Synchronizing an entire orchestra to a movie can be extremely hard to do, but the Erie Philharmonic is becoming more and more familiar with synchronizing their sound to movies.
The group is in their third year of playing along with classics. Previous performances included Casablanca and Bugs Bunny.
