For nearly a century, Lake Shore Country Club has served golfers in Fairview.

It's the big draw at the members-only club, which dates back to 1929 and was there long before any of the homes around it existed.

There's also tennis, a swimming and a great view of the lake from inside eating areas.

"There is almost a stigma to that title 'country club,'" said Nick Kerner, who is the team and community relations director for Lake Shore Country Club. "I believe firmly Lake Shore is the opposite of that. I mean you can wear jeans here, a baseball cap in the dinning room is okay."

The club offers different membership levels - social, non-resident, golf and corporate.
