Bethesda Lutheran Services to Host Climbing for Promising Futures Event at Ascend Erie

Bethesda Lutheran Services is hosting a rock-climbing event at Ascend Erie as they officially kick off fundraising efforts for their Mt. Kilimanjaro Climb. 

The Mt. Kilimanjaro Climb will benefit the organization's Right Start for Young Mothers Program. The program provides services to pregnant or parenting young women (ages 12-21) with their children. 

Bethesda's CEO George Trauner & COO Jerrard Rimel will trek up Mt. Kilimanjaro beginning on June 28th. The pair is attempting to raise $250,000 for the program. The proceeds will go towards house renovations. 

The climbing event will be held at Ascend Erie from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 20.
