SeaWolves Win Re-Brand from 'Last Week Tonight' - Erie News Now | WICU & WSEE in Erie, PA

The Erie SeaWolves will have a new look and name at least for one night in the near future. 

John Oliver of the HBO show, Last Week Tonight selected the Erie Seawolves as the team he will totally rebrand.

The Howlers were selected out of 47 teams that submitted a proposal to the show.   

Oliver and his team will come up with a new name, mascot and theme night for the club.

The caveat is the SeaWolves and their front office will have no input or say. The date of this total rebrand and theme night have yet to be announced as the SeaWolves coordinate with Major League Baseball.
