Presque Isle Downs and Casino has a new Vice President and General Manager.

His name is Jeff Favre, and he has extensive experience working in the casino business.

On Tuesday, he talked to employees at the casino, and shared a little about what he expects.

Favre said us he's excited to take on this new role.

"I have a wonderful team in place. Its just a matter of getting the team focused, working for the same vision, same mission, one direction. All of us understanding that vision, that mission, the core strategy and objectives we have to accomplish and all work to make them."

Favre said he's already  working to bring back business that may have been lost with newer casino being built near Erie.
