Fatal Car Accident in Crawford County
A fatal car accident in Crawford County took the life of one woman late Friday afternoon.
The West Mead Police Department reports that around 4:00 p.m., the vehicle hit a culvert pipe and rolled over on the Baldwin Street Extension, before coming to rest in a ditch.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by Crawford County Coroner Scott Schell.
Police aren't releasing the identity of the victim until the family is notified. Officers say she was wearing a seat belt.
