Erie's Irish Festival Kicks Off This Weekend
Get ready, it's all about the Irish this weekend.
The 21st annual Irish festival kicks off Friday night, and the celebration of Celtic culture is heading back to its roots.
Saint Patrick's church is once again hosting the annual Irish festival.
It's been held at Rainbow Gardens for several years, but this year it's heading back to the neighborhood. Taking place in downtown Erie, in front of St. Patrick's church on east 4th street.
It kicks off Friday night at 5:00-11:00, and wraps up on Sunday.
Marking halfway to St. Patrick's day, the festival will celebrate everything Irish. Live bands, homemade Irish food and drink.
Running for 21 years now, all proceeds will benefit the restoration of St. Patrick's Church.
