Pitt announced it's 2015 football schedule today that includes six home games, six away games and eight opponents who went to bowl games last season. Pitt will be under the direction of new head coach Pat Narduzzi and feature McDowell grad and possible Heisman Trophy candidate James Conner. Pitt will open on September 5th against Youngstown State under the direction of former Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini. Road games will follow at Akron, Iowa and Virginia Tech before the Panther return home October 10th to host Virginia. Two more road games follow at Georgia Tech and Syracuse. Pitt will then host four of their next five games starting with a Thursday night October 29th game against North Carolina. Notre Dame visits Heinz Field on November 7th followed by a road game at Duke. The Panthers end the season with home games against Louisville and Miami. Kickoff times for all the games have yet to be determined.
