The school, awarding Kelly, a doctor of laws degree.
The congressman briefly addressed the graduates.
Afterward, both Kelly and the class valedictorian from the LECOM School of Pharmacy shared in the excitement of their respective honors.
"It was an amazing journey, and I just want to thank my family, and LECOM for the amazing opportunity” Valedictorian, Nadia Dakroub said “I'm very thankful for them, it was a hard journey, but it was well worth it."
"It's just an honor to be here, you know it's really one of those things that's, a great a deal of humility that comes with it.” Rep. Kelly said “But my gosh, to be able to stand here and sit here, and listen, and get a chance to see all of our grads, that they're all going out in the world from here to help people, that's the beautiful part of it."
The Erie, and Seton Hill campuses graduated today, while the Bradenton campus will graduate on June 3.
And up next for Dakroub, she'll be working in the community pharmacy field.
