Molly Somora joined the Erie News Now team as a multimedia journalist in January 2019.

Before coming to Erie, Molly received her degree in Broadcast and Digital Communications along with a minor in Social Media from Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA. During her time at Westminster, she served as an executive producer, anchor, and reporter of our television show WCN 24/7. Additionally, she had the opportunity to intern with WFMJ in Youngstown as well as with the office of State Representative Tedd Nesbit.

Growing up in Grove City, Molly is excited to start her career in a town so close to home. She comes from a big family and is the second oldest of five kids. Her family has many generations of Westminster graduates all the way back to the early 1900s. She also got to attend with three of her siblings. When not cheering on the Westminster Titans, you can find her family traveling all over. She loves the beach and spending time with friends and family.

Molly is excited to be part of the Erie News Now team and serve the Erie area.
