Lake Erie Ale Trail Celebrating American Craft Beer Week

Lake Erie Ale Trail breweries are celebrating American Craft Beer Week with special events.

The highlights include:

• Cellar night at The Brewerie at Union Station - special rare beers are tapped
• 0.01K Foot Race at Erie Ale Works
• First pint night of 2019 at Five & 20 Spirits & Brewing
• Live music at Arundel Cellars and Brewing
• BBQ & Brew at Voodoo Brewery Erie
• Unique collaboration beers

The American Craft Beer Week festivities conclude with Beer Coaster at Waldameer Park on Saturday, May 18, from 4-8 p.m. It features local craft beer, gourmet Smith's hot dogs and park rides.

“American Craft Beer Week events are taking place across the country to celebrate local manufacturing and camaraderie amongst our industry peers," said Jason Lavery, board president for the Lake Erie Ale Trail and owner of Lavery Brewing Company, in a news release. "It’s a chance for the community to really see what we can do creatively and embrace us as local partners in their neighborhood pubs and taverns."
