An Erie hospital brought back an event from 5 years ago to raise money for cancer patients.
Allegheny Health Network at St. Vincent hosted its Crystal Ball gala Saturday at the Ambassador.
It decided to host the ball because they felt it was the best way to bring the community together for a fundraiser.
Money from the ball will help cancer patients who need to cover travel costs and care not covered by insurance like holistic care and ancillary services.
Final numbers are still being tallied, but the gala was sold out.
