Driver Pleads Guilty to Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash in Corry
A driver pleaded guilty to two charges for a 2018 fatal hit-and-run crash in Corry.
Steven Wellman, 46, entered a guilty plea to involuntary manslaughter and DUI during court appearance Wednesday. 12 other charges were dropped.
It happened on W. Washington St. during the early morning hours of May 12, 2018.
Police found Lorri Huffman, 54, laying in the road unresponsive. She was taken to UPMC Hamot where she died two days later.
Wellman has been free on bond.
He will be sentenced Nov. 12 at 8:45 a.m. by Judge John Mead.
