State Police Investigating Theft of Commercial Vehicle Batteries from Trucks
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the theft of six NAPA commercial vehicle batteries from two trucks located at the West Springfield maintenance building.
It reportedly happened between 3:30 a.m. Oct. 19 and 4:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at 13000 Sanford Rd. in Springfield Township.
Video shows at least two people were involved. Investigators believe the suspects also tried to steal a vehicle battery out of an excavator located at McDonald's Sand and Gravel, but they were unsuccessful.
The suspects appeared to be using a SUV or pickup truck at the time, troopers said.
