Driver Killed, Another Seriously Injured in North East Township Crash
A driver has died and another was seriously injured in what Pennsylvania State Police called a "high-impact crash" in North East Township Tuesday night.
A Buick Lacrosse was traveling east on E. Main Rd. near Remington Rd. around 7:55 p.m. when it lost control and veered into a Ford Escape heading west, troopers said.
The front of the Ford hit the passenger side of the Buick, according to State Police.
The driver of the Buick - Devlin C. Rizzo, 18, of North East - and the driver of the Ford - a 55-year-old North East woman - suffered serious injuries.
Rizzo was pronounced dead at UPMC Hamot, troopers said.
