Two people were arrested after troopers found suspected methamphetamine during a traffic stop in Union City Borough Friday evening.

Pennsylvania State Police stopped the vehicle in a driveway on Parade St. around 8:47 p.m. for a registration violation.

Investigators said the driver was suspended, and the Ohio plates on the vehicle were being fraudulently used.

The driver and passenger - identified as Anthony Fitch, 31, and Nicholas Lombard II, 35, both of Erie - were found in possession of suspected meth and drug paraphernalia, according to State Police.

Both were processed, charged and released.
