While a white Christmas may not be in the forecast this year, people are making the best of the warm weather.

Erie News Now found several people enjoying it at Presque Isle Monday.

Whether they were taking walks, going for bike rides, jogging or out walking their dogs, everyone was taking advantage of a break from the cold.

No boots or heavy coats were needed to be comfortable this holiday.

"This is personally one of my favorite places," said Eva Wasielewski. "I make it a point to come out here whenever I am home. When we were home for Christmas a couple of years ago, we had six feet of snow, and it's not really feasible to come out."

"Whenever I come home, this is the first place I always come to," said Emily Bailey. "It's just a staple for Erie, but same thing a few years ago we had six feet of snow. I tell my students we had six feet of snow a few years ago but not right now."
