Last-Minute Shoppers Hit the Stores on Christmas Eve

If you needed to grab a few last-minute gifts on Christmas Eve, you were not alone.
However, many in western Pennsylvania seem to have finished their shopping.
It was business as usual Tuesday afternoon at the Millcreek Mall where a steady, but not overwhelming, crowd of shoppers navigated through stores.
Many shoppers said their late visit to the stores was due to personal or financial reasons.
"I'm here shopping for my wife," said Jason Dodds. "[I] got all the kids done; just got to get the wife. She snoops through everything, so I got to make sure she gets her surprise. She don't think she's getting anything, but she'll be surprised this Christmas."
"I've been working so much overtime to buy all these extra gifts that I want to get," said Tom Newcomb. "I want to make everybody feel special, like they're number one."
