A holiday treat - the Grinch bagel - returned for the fifth year in a row at Jo's Brooklyn Bagel.

What was meant to look like a Christmas wreath was changed to honor the holiday character, the Grinch.

The festive, colored bagel adds a pop of color to the typical bagels.

"I just wanted something Christmas," said Dave Kinzig, baker. "When I started off, it was originally going to be a wreath-style bagel with a toasted coconut possibly protruding with the dough itself. Unfortunately, the coconut mixed in with the dough, then I decided the color was more in keeping with the Grinch."

The Grinch bagel is only made for the holiday season.
