Four dogs killed a horse in Crawford County, and the dogs' owner faces charges because of the incident.
State Police say the incident happened Christmas Eve in Union Township.
They say Dean McCray didn't properly secure his dogs at his home on Mercer Pike Road.
The dogs got loose and ran to a barn on Dutch Hill Road, where they allegedly attacked and killed a show horse worth $4,500.
McCray was arrested and charged with two misdemeanor dog law violations.
Police say this isn't his first offense related to dog laws.
He was taken to the Crawford County Correctional Facility.
