Multiple Crews on The Scene of Meadville Fire

Fire crews from Meadville, West Mead 1 & 2 and Saegertown, all responded to a fire call at Lucy's Laundry Basket Thursday night.

The call came in just after 8:30 p.m.  

Firefighters dealt with a great deal of smoke, before getting the blaze under control. 

The building was safely evacuated and no injuries were reported.

A Penelec crew was also on the scene at 727 Bessemer Street in Meadville. 

Fire Officials on the scene are investigating the cause.
