State police are continuing to investigate a deadly one vehicle accident late Saturday afternoon just south of Albion.
It happened about 4:20 p.m. on Route 18 in Conneaut Township, near Pennside Road.
According to investigators the driver of a Dodge Ram truck, Tyson Copeland, 35, was heading south on Route 18, when for unknown reasons, he lost control of the truck.
Troopers say Copeland's truck crossed the center line of the roadway, hit a culvert and became airborne.
The truck then hit a tree, rolled onto the passenger side and ejected Copland. According to the crash information report, the driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
Those first on the scene of the accident initiated CPR, but were unable to save the victim.
The Erie County coroner pronounced Copeland dead at the scene of the accident.
The truck was heavily damaged in the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
