Pharmacies at three Tops locations in northwest Pennsylvania began offering appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine on Wednesday, but all available appointments were filled within hours, a company spokesperson said.
Appointment times for select Pennsylvania and New York Tops locations were posted on the Tops vaccination website Wednesday afternoon. The pharmacies are set to begin administering vaccine doses on Friday.
A company spokesperson says only a limited number of appointments will be available at any given time based on vaccine availability and staffing.
Additional appointment times will be available once additional doses of the vaccine are available.
Tops' northwest Pennsylvania locations are following the Pa. Dept. of Health vaccine distribution plan. The state is currently vaccinating people in Phase 1A.

Tops locations in Chautauqua County, including Jamestown and Dunkirk, also offer the vaccine.
