The Erie SeaWolves released their 2022 schedule on Thursday.
Erie opens the season at UPMC Park on Friday, Apr. 8 against the Akron RubberDucks. They will begin with a three-game series against Akron before their first road trip of the season.
The SeaWolves will play 138 total games next season, including 69 home games.
The six-game series that was introduced during the 2021 season will remain next year. The series will begin on Tuesday and end Sunday, with Monday serving as a league-wide day off. Erie will play on Monday, July 4 at Harrisburg before its only Tuesday off of the season.
Erie will have a pair of 12-game homestands during the 2022 season. The SeaWolves will host Bowie and Akron from June 21-July 3. The second two-week homestand will conclude the regular season home schedule. Bowie and Altoona will travel to UPMC Park from August 30-September 11.
The SeaWolves will play the following teams at UPMC Park: Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants), New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays), Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles), Binghamton Rumble Ponies (New York Mets) and Reading Fightin Phils (Philadelphia Phillies).
The Hartford Yard Goats, Someret Patriots and Portland Sea Dogs will not travel to Erie during the 2022 season.
Ticket packages for the 2022 season will be announced at a later date.
