State Police Look to Identify Suspects in Theft of Tractor in Cochranton
Pennsylvania State Police are asking for help to identify the suspects in the theft of a tractor in Crawford County.
The tractor was located at Miller's Area Shopper Auction at 4177 U.S. Highway 19, Cochranton, on May 13, and was taken sometime between 11 p.m. that night and 7 a.m. the next morning, according to troopers.
It was found near the parking lot of Aunt Bee's Restaurant at 17408 Smock Dr., Cochranton.
While the tractor was parked there, troopers said the pair in the photos walked to Geneva Truck Stop at 17458 Smock Dr., Cochranton, and purchased some items sometime between 4:10 and 4:15 a.m. They included a yellow Viswerx hoodie with reflective material on the hoodie, a Turbo Torch, and a roll of 16 Gauge wire, and the packaging for the items was located on the stolen tractor.
The tractor is a 1999 Case International C50 tractor that is red in color, 50 horsepower and 2WD with a sun shade roof over the seat, State Police said.
