The coroner has identified the victim of a fatal shooting at Rodger Young Park in the City of Erie early Sunday morning.
Noah King, 21, of Erie, died from a gunshot wound to the torso.
Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook ruled King's death as a homicide, the city's first of the year, following an autopsy Monday afternoon.
Officers were called to a disturbance with shots fired at the park around 1 a.m.
They arrived to find King dead. The alleged shooter was at the scene when police arrived.
Police took Michael Ochrang, 24, in for questioning and recovered a weapon.
Ochrang was arraigned on charges of aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and firearms violations.
The park was held as a active crime scene for a while Sunday as police investigated.
The homicide comes on the heels of another late last year. A 38-year-old man was killed in a shooting Dec. 31 nearby at the Metroplex.
