Wine on the Lake Returns to Downtown Erie
For the first time since 2020, Wine on the Lake returned to the Bayfront Convention Center. The event showcased more than 35 regional wineries as well as dozens of vendors. Thousands of people came to downtown Erie to take part and taste the many different wines.
"Wine on the Lake is back and people are really enjoying it," said Michael Yori, owner of Yori Wine Cellars.
"We are having so much fun drinking so much good wine," said Brittany Fry, a Wine on the Lake attendee.
"It has been awesome to be back, a great event, sold out, and you can not ask for anything more," said Steve Flood, owner of Hungry Run Wine Cellars.
"I am coming from Warren and this event is fantastic, I am not a big wine drinker but everything tastes delicious," said Nick Schobey, a Wine on the Lake attendee.
"This is a great show for us every year and we have a lot of friends up here," said Chuck DiPiazza, of La Vigneta Winery.
Two sessions were held, one from 1-4 p.m. and another in the evening from 6-9 p.m., and the event was sold out.
