The Gannon Athletic Department named Jordan Fee as the next head men's basketball coach.

Fee is just weeks removed from winning a Division II Men's National Championship at Nova Southeastern.

Fee spent the last eight seasons with the Sharks. Fee was promoted to associate head coach before the start of last season. He served as the assistant coach for the last six years under his former college head coach at West Liberty, Jim Crutchfield.

In the last four seasons, Fee was part of a staff that made the NCAA Tournament four times, reaching the Division II Elite 8 or further on three occasions.

Originally hired in 2015 by Gary Tuell at Nova Southeastern, Fee remained on the staff when his former coach took over in 2017-18. Fee has helped five players earn contracts in the NBA G-League.

"I can't promise much, and I'm not going too. But what I can promise is a hard working individual. I don't think anyone can outwork me, and I'll make sure of that," said Fee. "The second thing is a guy who cares about people. I'm about the relationships with the community, the student athletes, and everyone on campus. I know that I can put together a group, we've done this. I have the blueprint for this, and I'll put in the work."

Prior to Nova Southeastern, Fee spent two seasons coaching at Division I Detroit-Mercy. He also was a graduate assistant at Clarion for one season. Fee began his coaching career as a volunteer assistant at his alma Mater West Liberty.

After high school, Fee spent a year at the Air Force Academy Prep School. He transferred to Division I Detroit-Mercy for two seasons. After two seasons with the Titans, Fee chose to finish his college career at West Liberty. He was part of a Hilltopper group that won 33-straight games

Fee is no stranger to the area, growing up and playing at Grove City High School. Fee registered 1,200 points over his four years with the Eagles. He helped lead Grove City to the PIAA semifinals during his junior season. Fee earned District and Regional recognition during his final two years in high school.

In 2018-19, Fee was named to the Under Armour 30-Under-30 Team, ranking him as the 6th best DII/III coach in the country.

Fee replaces Kelvin Jefferson who led the Golden Knights for the past four seasons.

"I'm overwhelmed and humbled by the opportunity, I could not be more excited," said Fee. "To take over here at Gannon is such a surreal feeling, and I could not be more excited."

He becomes Gannon's 20th head coach for the men's basketball program.
