From McDowell High School to the Marine Corps

Our series of special reports, "The Making of a Marine," continues with the story of Trevor Snyder.

The 2017 graduate of McDowell High School became a Marine over five years ago.

He currently serves as a Marine Recruiter in Butler, Pa.

As a Recruiter, Snyder pitches the Corps to High School and College students.

He comes from a Military family and his proud of their service.

His Grandfather is a Vietnam Veteran and still makes strips to Parris Island, South Carolina to visit with recruits.

Snyder told Erie News Now, "Joining the Marines was the best decision I ever made and now I can help others with the decision-making process."
