Erie County Department of Health Moves to Online Applications for Licenses & Permits

The Erie County Department of Health is moving to online applications for licenses and permits. 

Beginning April 24th, all existing and new license and permit applicants are required to create accounts and submit applications through the website. 

The new system will provide the following benefits for users: 

• Fill out forms online 
• Submit applications and required documents online 
• Pay application and license fees online 
• Have licenses or permits emailed to you 
• Print your licenses or permits 
• Access to your records online 
• Message with your inspector 
• Quick renewal process 

Additionally, to make this transition a success, the Erie County Department of Health will be unable to accept license applications from April 17th through April 23rd. 

Applicants who create their account and submit their application by June, 30th will receive a 10% discount on their next license fee. 

The Department of Health handles the following: 

• Licenses for Restaurants, Grocery Stores and Events (community dinners, fairs, etc.)
• Permits for Campgrounds and Manufactured Home Parks
• Registrations for Public Pools and Small Flow Treatment Facilities
• Licenses for Tattoo and Body Art Facilities, including temporary operations
  It also handles inspections of schools
