Joe Fiduccia along with some help from a local chrome shop created a replica Optimus Prime truck to inspire his son to do great things.
"It was a build that I led as a means of trying to inspire my son and motivate him to to rise up to bullies in his life, do whatever he wants to do and not be afraid to take a leap of faith and do something that might be a bit out of the norm," Fiduccia said.
While traveling back home, Fiduccia stopped in Erie because Advanced Custom Chrome helped make his dream of building a replica Optimus Prime truck become a reality.
"The shop did a lot of work on the truck back in 2016 and it has been so long since I have seen them, it was just one of those things I had to come back for because they put their heart and soul into this and it is an honor for me to be able to honor them in some way anytime that I can," Fiduccia said.
"I take a lot of pride now in sharing it with people and bringing it out to schools and events bully awareness presentations, Make-A-Wish stuff for individual kids and really do everything that we can to bring life to the character," Fiduccia said.
