Taylor Swift seems to do it all: She sings, she dances, and she even brings voters to the polls.

Celebrity endorsements have been a tool in politics and are something that can really help a campaign. Mercyhurst University Political Analyst Joe Morris tells us that from a celebrity's perspective, there's not a lot of benefit to endorsing a candidate. However, many choose to speak up when it comes to issues that are important to them.

"When it comes to Taylor Swift, if she chooses to become involved in politics by endorsing a candidate, she could be the difference in the 2024 election," said Morris.

In the past, the singer has posted a short message on Instagram asking her 300 million followers to vote. According to vote.org, more than 35,000 people registered to vote as a result of her post.

Morris says that Taylor has the power to make a major difference in the 2024 election.

"She is really the holy grail of endorsements in 2024."
