The Erie Zoo has announced it will be open for one weekend a month in December, January, and February.
The Erie Zoo's winter hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the last admission at 3:15 p.m. on:
“Our 100th anniversary is an exciting opportunity to reflect on the past and look to the future,” said Erie Zoo CEO Roo Kojancie. “Being able to enjoy the Zoo in the winter months is a new experience for many people in our community and a nostalgic memory to our lifelong Zoo supporters. Staff and animals look forward to welcoming guests during these new winter hours.”
The zoo will host a Winter Wonderland event on December 14 and 15 to kick off the select winter hours.
Winter Wonderland will include activities such as taking pictures with the Mean Green One, a craft station, live entertainment, shopping at the Animal Art Show and more.
Additionally, the Erie Zoo is proud to announce that it is partnering with Taradoodles ToyBox of Erie during the event to donate toys to local families in need.
