Belle Valley Fire Department Alerts Residents to New Phone Scam

The Belle Valley Fire Department is alerting residents to a new scam. According to the fire department, a bad actor is contacting individuals claiming to be collecting money for fire departments. 

They did not specially mention the Belle Valley Fire Department, however, they want to remind residents that they never solicit donations by phone or email. 

Any requests from the fire department will come by U.S. Mail and will include the department name and logo.
