Two local realtors are turning their passion for homes into a new nonprofit initiative aimed at transforming the exteriors of homes across Erie County.
The nonprofit, Project Curb Appeal, was launched by Stacey Santos and Megan DeMarco with RE/MAX Real Estate Group.
The first Project Curb Appeal transformation will take place this month. According to organizers, a local homeowner has already been selected to receive a full curb appeal makeover.
The makeover will include fresh paint, landscaping, pressure washing, repairs, and more. The project not only aims to beautify the property but to also uplift the spirits of the homeowner and neighbors.
Project Curb Appeal is currently accepting community nominations for future home transformations.
“This is about giving back to the people and neighborhoods that make Erie such a special place,”
says co-founder Megan DeMarco. “We’re realtors, but at the heart of it, we just love helping
people feel proud of where they live.”
