PennDOT Closes Route 98 in Franklin Township Due to Pipe Failure

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has closed all lanes of Route 98 from New Road to Old State Road in Franklin Township, Erie County due to a pipe failure. 

The roadway will remain closed until necessary repairs can be made and a detour will be posted. 

PennDOT says motorists can check conditions on major roadways online.
