Three Erie middle school students are among the 24 finalists competing in the 2025 National Civics Bee Pennsylvania State Finals on June 13 at Penn State University’s HUB-Robeson Center.
Jason Ramey from James W. Parker Middle School, and Theofanis Nacopoulos and Casey Aresco from Erie Day School, will showcase their civics knowledge and community improvement ideas in the live quiz-style competition.
The event, co-chaired by PA Chamber CEO Luke Bernstein and Lt. Governor Austin Davis aims to promote civic engagement among youth.
The winner will represent Pennsylvania at the National Civics Bee in Washington, D.C. this fall.
