NAMI Erie County PA to Host Free 'Inside Out 2' Movie Night to Promote Mental Health Awareness

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Erie County PA is inviting the community to a special evening under the stars with a free screening of the animated film "Inside Out 2."
The event, titled "Mental Health Movie in the Park," will take place on Friday, June 13, 2025, at UPMC Park Stadium.
Gates open at 7:00 PM, with the movie set to begin at 8:00 PM. Admission is free for all attendees.
This family-friendly event aims to bring the Erie community together while sparking important conversations about mental health.
"Inside Out 2," the sequel to the beloved Pixar film, delves into the complexities of emotions and mental well-being, making it an ideal choice for children and parents alike.
Organizers hope the film will help families navigate the emotional challenges of growing up and encourage open discussions about mental health.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the movie comfortably on the field.
In addition to the screening, the event will feature open concession stands, local vendors, free activity packets for kids, informational resources, and giveaways.
These activities are designed to engage families and provide valuable information about mental health support and services available in the Erie area.
